	Horse riding at Te Taunga Adventures is based on ‘Te Taunga’, a 1630 acre/660 hectare certified organic sheep and beef farm in New Zealand’s South Island overlooking the Pacific Ocean, making it a great location for experiencing the coastal Catlins on horseback, with spectacular views over farmland and native forest both inland & overlooking the coast. Stunning views over several beaches, Owaka and Catlins rivers, Catlins lake, estuary, Pounawea and Owaka. You can enjoy a personalized service, riding in small groups with the opportunity to ride among farm animals, through our native forest full of bird life and along pristine sandy beaches to play in the surf or view the sea lions.
Our emphasis is on safety and enjoyment, in an atmosphere of great fun. We cater for almost anyone - individuals, couples, families, small groups and anyone with an adventurous nature, love of the outdoors, animals and natural beauty of which the Catlins, New Zealand, has plenty to offer. Horse Riding We have a wide range of horse riding options available, catering for the complete beginner to experienced rider, with rides from 1hour. All rides are tailored to suit your level of adventure and experience, from relaxed – exhilarating you decide or choose one of our regular 1, 2, or 3 hour rides.
